Where are you based?
Bolingbrook
How long have you been making music?
3 years
What genre would you consider your music to be?
EDM, Progressive House
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Making music literally saved my life, I wouldn’t be sitting here today without it and I am eternally grateful for that. I hope that I am able to give back to the universe by creating music that is a beacon of light for others who are lost in the dark as I was and help make it possible for other artists looking to have their music and stories heard by producing.
What are your biggest musical influences?
Krewella, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Queen.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m currently an independent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Taking that leap of faith and leaving a more stable career in the pursuit of something far greater in the hopes of trying to help change world and it’s future. In a world that relies so heavily on social media and numbers it is quite a challenge for up and coming artists to get their foot in the door when they don’t have the massive followings or connections to get their music heard. It is doable though, and the proof of that is all of the great artists that came before me, paving the way, and doing it without the power of Instagram and Twitter. They are living examples and proof that it can be done with enough perseverance and a true passion and love for music and what you as an artist and your music represent.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
4 songs; 2 remixes and 2 originals
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest single “Proof”, was originally created for a final class project and I ended up loving it so much I decided to release it as a single. I honestly didn’t even have a name for it until after I finished it. Music as a career is far from easy and it is a journey filled with plenty of people telling you constantly how hard it is, to take a safer job and do it as a hobby, or that your songs aren’t quite good enough. This was my way of telling everyone who has ever doubted or questioned me, ” Hey, I might not be world famous or make millions of dollars, but I’m doing it. I am doing what I love and I’m putting my music and really myself out there.” The biggest reward for me would be if even just 1 person heard one of my songs, and it gave them the confidence, courage, and that little extra push they needed to say f**k it, and put their music out there, or someone in a dark place, thinking they have no way out hears it and decides to see the sun shine tomorrow and the day after, then all of the long nights and hard work was worth it.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I’m working on my first album, Initium Novum, which I plan on releasing Dec 15, 2021. It’s an album that captures everything from the challenging lows to the most rewarding highs of the closing of 1 chapter and the beginning of this new one of my life as I continue to learn and grow.
