BEHIND THE MUSIC

EDM producer and Milwaukee native Melissa Behling, who also goes by the name SOULLESS GINGER, is a creative, honest, and down to earth artist and music producer/audio engineer whose music is melodic, anthemic, and at times emotional, layering powerful synths and warm orchestral strings, ethereal vocals and dance inducing, rhythmic drum lines. Drawing her inspiration from artists such as Krewella, Martin Garrix, Tritonal, and Tiesto, she has hopes that her music will not only help others through the highs and lows in life, but that it will also be a catalyst for spreading hope, love, and positive vibes.

When asked why she started creating and producing music, Melissa says “making music literally saved my life, I wouldn’t be sitting here today without it and I am eternally grateful for that, and I hope that I am able to give back to the universe by creating music that is a beacon of light for others who are lost in the dark as I was.” Melissa’s belief is that music is a therapy for everyone in some way, along with it being a universal language that spreads positivity, light, and love in the world. Her goal is to not only produce music that helps anyone out there who is going through something or feels like they're alone in their fight, as she once did, but that also helps heal a world that has been lost in the darkness for far too long.

She is currently working on her first album, Initium Novum, which she plans on releasing December 15, 2021 and is fresh off the release of her latest single "Proof", available now on all major streaming platforms.
